9 yard Silk Cotton Soft Silk saree is referred as “Madisar” and worn by the women Iyer and Iyengar in Brahmin communities of South India, Iyers and Iyengars are both Madisar but wearing it is entirely differently. Iyer madisar has Kosuvan in the left leg and pallu / talapu comes in right side whereas the Iyengar Madisar the legs part is not at all visible pallu / talapu comes at left.
