Honoring Tradition with Sumangali Prarthanai
Sumangali Prarthanai is a sacred ritual performed to seek the blessings of our ancestors, ensuring prosperity and happiness for the family. As part of this tradition, 9 to 11 Sumangalis and young Kanya Pengal (unmarried girls) are invited to participate in the ceremony, where special poojas and offerings are conducted in their honor. Here at Coimbatore Ambal Kovil at RS Puram coimbatore, almost 101 Mamis were invited.
