The children we watched growing up become Mama & Mami.
Then Appa & Amma.
And eventually…
Patti & Thatha.
We will travel with them through festivals, family traditions, Madisar, Panchakacham, children, grandchildren, Kula Deivam, Amavasya Tarpanam, Kashi, Gaya and Prayagraj.
We will also speak respectfully about the part of family life we don't often write about — losing our elders, Apara Karma, Shraddham and remembering those who came before us.
Until finally, the little child whose journey we began with becomes an elder remembered by another generation.
And somewhere in that family…
